The Civil Defence (CD) is required to perform its vast array of services to the public and therefore needs to be competent in a similar array of specialist areas.

The IAFS has enjoyed an outstanding relationship with the national CD authority in Oman and the wider GCC services for many years. The foundation of which is the variety of basic and specialist accredited programmes it can offer.

The IAFS provides emergency response training for all grades within these services, from initial firefighter to Senior Officer Incident management programmes and a robust process of skills and knowledge delivery and assessment enables CD firefighters and Officers to perform their duties with confidence and competence.
